Elder Law

Elder Law is an area of law that caters to the needs of older clients and those with disabilities. It encompasses many areas of the law, however as part of my practice I only handle the following types of cases:

    • Special Needs Planning
    • Special Needs Trusts
    • Social Security Disability Law
    • Disability planning
    • Wills
    • Financial & healthcare decision-making through powers of attorney
    • End-of-life decision-making through the use of advance directives

Elder law is the integration of the legal system with social and medical concerns for the benefit of the senior and/or disabled client and their families. This comprises all aspects of planning, counseling, educating and advocating for clients. The practice of elder law is one that incorporates a broad understanding of aging and special needs.

As an attorney specializing in this area, I am dedicated to keeping abreast of the constant changes in these areas in order to provide my clients with essential legal services and solutions.
